Dr. James E. McGinn, Jr. obtained his Doctorate from National College of Chiropractic in 1980. He earned a Bachelor of Science in biology and human anatomy from Marquette University and National College, respectively. He further obtained a Diplomate in Internal Disorders (family practice) from Texas Chiropractic College and trained in advanced practice studies in Functional Assessment Medicine through the Institute of Functional Medicine. In 1999, Dr. McGinn developed The Center for Progressive Natural Health.
Dr. McGinn maintains a special interest in working with adults to change life habits which have caused or triggered diabetes, allergies, elevated cholesterol, digestive disorders, autoimmune disease, and other chronic conditions. He has been in practice since 1981.
Dr. Emily Ornelas joins the Center for Progressive Natural Health with a specialty in orthopedic and spinal diagnosis and management. She earned a Doctorate of Chiropractic Medicine from National University of Health Sciences in 2010 and holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Biologic Sciences from Elmhurst College.
Dr. Ornelas has been in private practice since 2010, including experience in an integrative medical practice focusing on musculoskeletal care, as well as diagnosis and management of internal disorders, and evidence-based natural healthcare. She has maintained special focus in treatment of headaches, chronic pain, autoimmune conditions, digestive problems, and the development of personalized detoxification and weight management programs through therapeutic lifestyle changes.
Personally, Dr. Ornelas enjoys spending time with her husband and 3 children, playing the piano, cooking...and daily dark chocolate.
