| Ergonomics
Ergonomics is
defined as the study of the relationship between an
individual and their working environment with special
references to anatomical, physiological, phsychological
and mechanical factors.
At the Center, we
help identify potential risks to your health and safety in both the work environment and at home. Whether you
work in an office, at home, or out in the field, you are
at risk for back, neck and other repetitive stress
injuries. Our BACKSAFE and SITSAFE programs address those issues in the workplace by evaluating, educating, training
and motivating personnel to prevent such injuries, therefore reducing Worker's Compensation costs. These are the very some programs used by United Airlines, Chrysler, Coca-Cola, and many others worldwide.
Our licensed
"Injury Prevention Consultant" can customize a program specific to a
company's or individual's needs. Workshops incorporate the use of video, lecture, stretch/exercise review and an obstacle course to change one's old "bad body
management" habits towards being BACKSAFE, SITSAFE and injury free.
